Disappointment

What did I expect?

Happiness?

Money?

Love?

Nothing?

yet still I am disappointed.

Sadness comforts me. 

So I follow. 

Enough of it to numb me.

Pints I swallow. 

Poverty never bothered me.

So I settle for mediocrity. 

Violence that surrounds me.

Safety is not my priority. 

Loneliness is my best friend.

So I enjoy no company.

Instruments play songs with no end.

silence is the symphony.

I wanted nothing.

So I got it. 

The disappointment is just for pleasure.
