Mirror
I think of you when I look in the mirror.
The young catholic boy who prayed at night.
The same one who would forgive anyone.
You were so innocent you looked naïve.
Ignorant
Time perverted you.
No longer a part of the meek,
You’ve lost your inheritance.
Without that purpose,
You made your own.
Corrupt
You lost your spirit,
Through the cracks on your porcelain skin.
In came the smoke that you willingly took.
So, you cracked your skin even more.
Through those cracks the smoke bled,
Out your body but, not your head.
Fragile
When I stand in front of the mirror,
I can see your eyes in my own
But everything else I don’t know.
Strange
